HTZ HOUNDZ: Adoptable Dog of the Week - Sonya

From a rough beginning in Korea, Sonya now finds herself in Ontario, in search of a loving forever home. She is a 1 year old Jindo mix, who is looking for a an active home with a yard. She loves to play and be outdoors, and with the nice weather coming she might be your perfect hiking buddy!

She is good with adults and older dog savvy children as she is on the bigger size being over 70lbs. She will need a home where she is the only pet though. Sonya is still learning English actually but has been picking up commands quite quickly and seems very trainable. She can be startled by new and unexpected sound around the house like the vacuum so she'll need a patient owner who can help normalize her to her surroundings.

She sounds like a lovely dog and deserving of a forever home, check out her full profile here. You can also find the adoption form here. Thanks to our friends at Vansickle Pet Valu and Lundy's Lane Pet Valu, if you adopt Sonya, they'll hook you up with 15% off your first purchase, a free bag of dog food, and free pet bath at their self wash stations in store. Lastly, if you know anyone thinking of adopting a dog, send this clip their way to help Sonya find that forever home asap!

It's time for the Hit towns Adoptable dog of the week with Jonathan presented by Van Pet Value and Lundy's Lane Pet Value.

Yes, it is indeed time for the Hit towns adoptable dog of the week this week coming to us from Niagara Dog rescue. We've got

who's come a long way to be with us here in Ontario. She was rescued from a pretty awful situation in Korea, uh where she saw and heard a lot of deplorable things. Uh but that is in her past and now she is in Ontario looking for her forever home.

Uh She's a one year old Jindo mix who has plenty of energy, uh described as medium to high energy like she can chill out when you need her to. But she's gonna love being outside and playing as often as she possibly can right now. She's still getting used to

her new life and being in a home environment. So things like the vacuum cleaner, uh even just like plates tinging around can kind of uh spook her a little bit. So consider her a flight risk at least until she gets used to you guys and your family and uh how loud you guys can all be. Uh She is good with adults and older dog savvy Children. And again, we don't want to see any toddlers spooking her. Uh and we don't want any, you know, uh she's a big

a girl at, you know, 70 to £80 too. So we don't have any kids get knocked over or anything like that. Uh So older dog savvy kids would be best for this sweet girl. Uh She, like I say, has a lot of energy. She's very trainable. She's been responding well, um she's still technically learning English because she grew up not being around anybody who spoke English. So that's all kind of new to her. But she took to her sick command really well, she's very treat and treat and food motivated

and uh we really think that being able to take her to some kind of training classes uh is gonna do wonders for her and your bond with her. Uh Ultimately, as she settles into, again, this normal kind of life for a dog or at least what we would consider a normal life for a dog here. Uh in the western world,

I'm really uh excited to see her on this journey and hope that she finds the forever home she's looking for. Uh So again, if you've got a fenced in yard and some good space to play outside, uh older kids in the house, uh no other pets would be good for her as well. Check her out, she can, you can find her. We're gonna do this a little bit different now with Hits Towns where I'm gonna post these clips, me talking about the dog as an audio clip up on the Hits FM Tab and you'll find it podcasted as well. Wherever you get your Hits FM podcast, like iheartradio,

uh, and inside those clips you'll be able to hit, click the links, check out their full profiles, hit the adoption link as well. And, uh, you can also check out our friends at Vansickle Pet Value and Lundy's Lane pet Value who are supporting you as a new adopter of a hit. Sounds dog. If you adopt Sonia or any of our hit sounds dogs, you get 15% off your first purchase, a free bag of dog food and a free pet bag
