Wilfred’s got love in the fast lane — literally. Every day after work, his girlfriend sends him on a new mission: bread, batteries, bubble wrap… you name it. But now, our guy’s exhausted and just wants to drive home without detouring through aisle 5. Is it time Wilfred put his foot down — or is this just the price of love and living together?

Wake up with a fang hi wake up and the clap on nine four seven?

Do we have a voice note where we listen to it?

And I just could see in Frankie's Frankie's eyes that finally he feels seen.

Yes, that's so true.

I feel seen, sash guys will for that here. So my wife every day, and I'm talking about every day, wants me to stop at a shop. It's either to get some mushroom for pasta, to get crispy clean, or even toilet paper. It is the most yo, guys, every single day, I have to get something small and yana every day. Every day. You know, I just want to go home, man, I just want to go home.

Isn't that the point of having a husband.

No, the point is so yes, obviously I'm going to find every day to ask I'm on my way back, shall I get something?

Do we need anything? Yeah? Because I'm being a nice man.

Yes, husband, But then you must be a nice wife and say no, it's fine.

Some days we have no ninety.

Five percent yes, because otherwise I really I can see the frustration with this man. I think so many guys have dealt with this, Like you're phoning to be you actually just want to get home.

You don't want to stop at the shop.

And then you're thinking, let me just check and then yeah, can you please get we need mushrooms?

Okay, but wait maybe then look, I'm on both sides here. I feel in terms of things like groceries and whatever, she should have that down or they.

Bull should where they know what the arrangement.

Yeah, right right, But there's sometimes when you are cooking, you're like, oh, I need beef stock.

You know what do you what?

Did you start cooking without beef stock. Beef stock is not an ingredient that you randomly, Oh you know what.

We were nice and there's some beef stock.

Yes, But then sometimes I realize that I don't have it and then I need it or parmesan cheese or asparagus.

Did you not check the recipe before we started cooking?

I started cooking, and then your dark ress. Oh I want to make soft rolls and I forgot Dave on.

The way home.

Please bring home yeast. That's the point, it's the partnership. I'm cooking, you bring the stuff. I also would rather do nothing and sit down and watch TV and watch tennis the whole time. But I'm cooking, and all I'm asking is whilst you're on the way, you on the way. I'm not asking you to go out of your way. It's on route. Pick this up, it's not en route.

I don't drive physically through a Woolworths to get home, like it's not a drive through.

I've got a park.

Hey, there's an idea.

I've got a park my car find Because now you say yeast? Yes, okay, So you know how many shops we're gonna stop at for yeast?

You can just stop at one and hey, there's a pick and pay, There's a Checkers, there's a Willi, then.

There's a Spa.

There is no grocery shop that can ever tell me that they.

Don't have yeast.

But you'll find you run it. You'll stop for mushrooms. Oh that happened to be out? I can they stop at another place?

The other day?

I asked mother to give me coriander. Yet poor man had to go to three Woolies.

Exactly my point. That's my point. He's three whilies here? How many Willies? That is? How many shopping centers to stop at to get.

And when you're eating the dish and it's the letter.

We are not complaining. I'm just saying that, well, Wilfred, you.

Might not every day my wife wants to cook every day. Why don't you complain about that now?

I'm just saying that some ingredients we can go without. Like, was it really need a coriander?

Really? Did you really? Really? Did it? Really?

Was the dish never going to be served without coriander? I phoned to be polite. We really could have gone without the coriander.

China's booker Saturday on you all one one eight eight nine four seven. We don't even know Wilford's wife, what is it? Well, yeah, Wolford's wife. Don't even know her name, so she'll be called wife. Okay, it's wife versus Wilford. Who is correct here? He has Wilford's voice.

Noteh guys will for that here. So my wife every day, and I'm talking about every day, wants me to stop at a shop. It's either to get some mushroom for pasta, to get crispy clean or even toilet paper. It is the most.

Yo, guys.

Every single day I have to get something smaller and yana every day every day, I know, I just want to go home man, I just want to go home.

Maybe even an ice cream.

Okay, but now this is a different comment.

Please and please don't let this conversation digress of the fact that men are not great. I'm not saying men are not great. And guess we'll stop retreat every now and again because oh.

It's the treat you don't mind. It's it's the it's the heavy duty lifting that you do, mind the things I need to make you dinner.

The problem here is that it creates a precedent.

That every day you're going to stop somewhere.

Nay, how many times has Basa stopped this week where we yeah, exactly, that's the right there?

Where are we slash?

Guys Wilford that here. So my wife every day, and I'm talking about every day, wants me to stop at a shop. It's either to get some mushroom for pasta, to get crispy clean or even toilet paper. It is the most yo, guys, every single day I have to get something smaller and yana every day.

Every day.

I know, I just want to go home, man, I just want to go home.

O Frankie.

It's you saying that you don't physically drive through a wools.

It's not on root, ye, it's on route and you're outside.

Will please Frank, it's just too hilarious not to side with it.

A friend's wife should be better organized.

Every now and then when you forget an ingredient, but really, every day, please get organized. I'm definitely on Wilfrid's side for some reason. My husband is the one who is constantly asking me to stop at the shops, and it's so frustrating. But when we are actually at the shop and out doing something and I want to get something extra, then he doesn't want to.

Yeah.

I just feel like we have struck a nerve in the city today.

We don't talk about this enough.

This is an issue that is under one of the underlying currents in every relationship.

Only every relationship is going through this. Moses, good morning, Good, we're good, Moses. You have a theory about this?

Yes, yes, so my theory is what's his name is it? Wilfred, Wilfrid, Wilfrid? Okay, okay, so so so the the guy the wives will said wife wants to make sure that Wilfred comes home on time every day. So she wants, she wants, she wants to give like the impression that if you don't come home early, we're not going to eat.

I actually said this, I said this is the team yesterday, I said this year. And I've seen wives who do this with their husbands, the husband who got for a drink with the boys after work and then end up coming home at midnight, things like that. Then whifs start doing this, we're like, we need this, we need that, Oh we need this for dinner. Oh there's a school project, or we need break no, no, no, all of that. And just to make sure that you come home because once you're home, it's tough for you to leave to go for a drink with the guys, right because you're home already.

Why you guys, If you don't come home, we're not going to it. So you better make sure that you come home with the toilet power to come home with the tomatoes.

Yeah, I'm sitting on the toilet right now and there's no toilet paper.

Come home, Moses, is your wife? Does your wife do this? Moses?

She checks franky? Okay, franky, Franky, I'm not even married, Frankie.

And you know the tricks of the trade already.

Yes, yes, yes, I do know the tricks of the trade already.

Yeah, but married people must keep quiet.

Don't tell single people what goes on there, because then you want to make them scared to go in. Keep quiet, you must just it's nice yet don't don't paint the other stuff.

Thank you so much. Moses ask that we're coming to you.

Good morning, morning is how are you good? Yeah? So I've been married for quite a while and I have children, but I have found it solved worked for me my husband, so we don't fight anymore. And it's called you cook.

Okay, Yes, that's a lot of easy like yeah.

So they bring all the ingredients of the meal.

Everything, even a little spice that you need. The only thing you need is olive oil or whatever. Yeah, and a part of water. But everything is delivered, it's portioned. Everything is in there. So we sit and choose the recipes up front on Sunday night. It's my oldest responsibility to choose the meals for the week. We choose four meals for four people. It comes in a box on Monday. There's no fighting, nobody's phoning anyone to buy whatever. So it works for us and it's and actually it works out cheaper to be quite honest, and then stopping for a little mushroom packet every day.

You see that this is my question. So you did say you found a solution to this. So this was a problem for you. Were you the one asking what was?

He was?

He huh, Well, we we take turns, but I mean and then I'll offer our phone, say what do we need anything? Yeah? You know what now that we mentioned it, and you go and get that both stomach and I'm like, no, dude, you need to Now you're being all pushy as well. Just something plain would be yay, stop for a bottle of soda or something like that. But when you start getting into like country business, you know, then it comes great.

I want a garlic trustle oil, but not the one that truns a black bottle one of the companies eat through bottle. And then that mummy spice there by David Higgs petrol station underneath.

And then once you're out, you.

Know, can you just pick up my gift? I ordered it. It's sitting there at the toy shop.

And then you hang up and you call that oh and radish, radish, radish, please, hey, I need some radish

Back to making your morning and that love on nine, four seven,
