We got a message from a mom whose daughter is the Head Girl at a school, top marks, great kid but despite living just 2.8km from a school, she still hasn’t been placed. The GDE says the schools handle placements, the schools say the GDE does, and parents are stuck in the middle watching other families get SMSes,
