Now here’s where I stand:  if you want to deny your age, that’s your business…
But then you don’t get the perks. You don’t get the big party. You don’t get the speeches. You don’t get us pretending you’re wise now.

You don’t get the 50 treatment if you’re still emotionally claiming 38. Because you can’t reject the number… but accept the benefits. That’s not how life works.
