In summer of 2016, a family from Texas sold pretty much everything, including 
their home in Texas, said goodbye to friends and family, and bought a sailboat. 
Their plan - live on the boat and circumnavigate the globe. 
They are Father Keith, Mother Renee, Jack (19), Finn (16) and Kate (15). 
They have a YouTube channel with over 74 million views, and it is all our producer 
Ryan ever speaks about, he watches their weekly video’s on YouTube and is obsessed with them. 
They are currently in South Africa so we arranged for him to have a chat with 
them, and the challenge was to see how many sailing terms or boat puns he 
could include in the interview…

Benni McCarthy is a true South African football legend. He remains Bafana Bafana’s all-time leading scorer with 31 international goals and is the only South African ever to win the UEFA Champions League, having lifted the trophy with FC Porto in 2004.

A decorated striker, he was joint top-scorer at the 1998 African Cup of Nations. In Europe he starred for top clubs – winning titles with Ajax in the Netherlands, and enjoying a “fabled” career at Porto (Champions League 2004) as well as spells at Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United in England.

He finished his playing days back home with Orlando Pirates (2011–2013). McCarthy also broke ground off the pitch: as a pop culture icon, he featured in the 1998 Kwaito hit “Shibobo” by TKZee, which became South Africa’s fastest-selling single. These highlights – from “Shibobo” fame to sporting greatness – illustrate why his legacy is so celebrated.
