Yesterday on 947 Drive with Thando, Msizi told listeners that he was sick. Now, you’d expect a man who’s under the weather to sound like he’s fighting for his life, right?

But Anele heard about it and reckons Msizi didn’t even sound sick! So now we need answers. Some of you have mastered the art of sounding sick when you want to stay home, avoid work or get out of doing something. Others are genuinely sick but still sound perfectly fine on the phone.

We want you to call us and give us your best sick voice! Let’s hear those dramatic coughs, blocked noses, weak voices and those Oscar-worthy performances. Can Anele tell the difference between someone who’s genuinely sick and someone who just doesn’t feel like going to work?

Msizi from 947 Drive with Thando claims he is sick, but his sick voice is not convincing enough so we asked Joburg to show him how it's done
