Natasha has a family dilemma. She says her parents are very well off and have done incredibly well for themselves, and she's genuinely happy for their success. But her own family is struggling financially, to the point where they're battling to pay school fees.
Despite hinting at their situation on several occasions, her parents have never offered any financial support.
In fact, they recently bought a holiday home in Umhlanga, while Natasha says her family can barely afford a camping trip. Now she's asking: is this normal? Should parents help their adult children when they're struggling, or is financial independence simply expected once you're grown?
