And now, Chad le Clos has made history once again. Fresh from the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Chad has become the most decorated athlete in Commonwealth Games history, taking his total to an incredible 21 medals – seven gold, five silver and nine bronze.

From beating Michael Phelps to Olympic gold in London in 2012, to becoming a record-breaker at the Commonwealth Games, Chad le Clos has built a career that has firmly cemented his place among South Africa's sporting greats.
