We need to talk about something very serious… We’ve got a friend turning 50, big milestone, half a century, proper life achievement stuff…But the problem? He doesn’t want to turn 50. Like… my guy is moving like if he ignores it, it’ll just… skip him? He’s acting like 49.9 is a permanent address.

Now here’s where I stand:  if you want to deny your age, that’s your business…
But then you don’t get the perks. You don’t get the big party. You don’t get the speeches. You don’t get us pretending you’re wise now.

You don’t get the 50 treatment if you’re still emotionally claiming 38. Because you can’t reject the number… but accept the benefits. That’s not how life works.
