I knew I'd want the typical paw print tattoo in his memory but I wanted something with it that would remind of his personality in some way but struggled to figure out what that would be. The night of his passing we had a bonfire in his honor since he loved to lay by the fire chewing a stick (or branch) but that night the yard was filled with fireflies (which was not normal we'd maybe see a few every now and then but not to this extent) we just knew this had to be a sign that he was with us but it didn't stop there. Later once we were inside one must had came in the house with us and had stayed alive till the very next night when we had caught and released it back outside but then the following night we had another firefly hovering back and forth in our livingroom window and was in such awe that I had to capture a picture as I went to get a picture it had flew away (our Kane-Man hated his picture taken and would always turn his head away from the camera) I was certain that this was Kane's soul comes back to us. With that I knew I just had to get a firefly with his pawprint. I went with the Disney character Raymon from the princess and the frog due to my love for Disney but also the rednck personality of that character was very similar to our German shepherd, Kane's. I got my tattoo done at Tymeless and I still love it to this day!
