The United Way Day of Caring is coming up on Thursday August 7th where teams of volunteers fan out across Central New York to volunteer for non profits. Katie Hanlon is the Chief Community Officer for the United Way of Central New York and she explains more. The CUS Foundation which provides support for survivors of suicide loss was established in memory of Tom Cusumano by his widow Betsy. They are holding their second annual Golf Tournament on Saturday August 9th at Northern Pines Golf Course in Cicero. Betsy says they’ve had a busy couple of years.
