Parents are looking ahead to summer and to what choices there are for summer camps. The Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways are offering both overnight summer camps and day camps. And guess what? The camps are open to everyone – not just registered Girl Scouts, and the day camps are open to any gender! There is a service that is offered at some area pharmacies called Scriptalk for those who are visually impaired, blind, illiterate, or maybe just those who can’t see small print. Scriptalk will read all the information on prescription labels so that you can be sure you are taking the right medication at the right dose, at the right time. Monica Johnson is a Peer Support Group Coordinator for Aurora of CNY for Onondaga and Oswego counties and helped to get Scriptalk into area pharmacies.
