Street Talk airing weekend of 5/15/2026
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is holding their yearly convention this June 2nd through 7th right here in Syracuse. Some four to six thousand combat veterans and their families will be visiting the area to take part. Anthony Yetsko is the Commander of the local CVMA 19-8, The Salt City Chapter, and Scott Cox is the Director of 22 Until There’s None. Both helped to bring this convention to the area. We just finished up Salvation Army Week which has been celebrated nationwide since the 1950s. It gives us a chance to focus on the some of the 34 programs serving children, families, seniors and individuals across Central New York. Allison Brooks is the Director of Emergency and Practical Assistance Services.
Mary Beth Cianfrocca is the Director of Early Head Start Enrollment and Nina James is the Director of the Cab Horse Daycare Center and they both talk about the Salvation Army’s Early Childhood Education.
