Street Talk airing weekend of 5/1/2026

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that No Kid Sleeps On the Floor in towns across the country. Volunteers build and deliver beds to children who need a safe, warm place to sleep. The Sleep In Heavenly Peace Auburn Chapter is holding an All Women’s Build on Saturday May 30th to encourage women, even those with no building experience, to volunteer for this rewarding organization. Peg Parker is the Chapter’s Co-President. The deadline to sign up for the May 30th All Women’s build, if you want to be guaranteed a t-shirt, is tomorrow, Monday, May 4th. We go from Cayuga County to Oswego County this week with information about the 3rd Annual Oswego County Community Baby Shower being held on Friday, May 15th from 11 am to 2 pm at Elim Grace Church in Oswego. It is free to attend. Amanda Barbera is the Coordinator of the Perinatal and Infant Community Health Collaborative at ReachCNY.
