This is a busy time of year for charity events so we’re going to tell you about three of them that are happening this coming weekend! First off on Friday night May 2nd, the Kids Like Connor organization is holding a black tie gala at The Pier in Central Square. We continue to look at charity fundraisers this coming weekend with the Run For Recovery, a 5K and Kids Fun Run which is happening at Green Lakes State Park this Saturday, May 3rd.  Last year there were 590 participants and 40,000 dollars raised.  Kathleen Gaffney-Babb is President and CEO and she explains more about their services, along with their Foundation which helps to raise money.
