Street Talk airing weekend of 3/20/2026

There are approximately 3500 people living right here in Central New York who live with Parkinson’s Disease, which is a progressive neurological disease with no cure. Empower Parkinson is a Parkinson’s Wellness Center on West Taft Road in Liverpool. Patrick VanBeveren is their Executive Director.

Empower Parkinson is holding a event on March 25th, called “Breaking Barriers, Building Hope for Parkinson’s” and their keynote speaker is Rasheda Ali, daughter of famed boxer Muhammad Ali who lived with Parkinson’s Disease for more than 30 years.
