The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is happening next Sunday, November 8th beginning at the SRC Arena on the Onondaga Community College Campus. Melissa Bianco of Kinney Drugs, is this year’s Chairperson for the 2026 Walk. Kerri Rose of Pyramid Network, is the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York’s Board President. This year’s 19th Annual Veterans Expo and Parade is happening on Saturday, November 7th at the NYS Fairgrounds. The Expo runs from 9 am to 2 pm, and the parade steps off around Chevy Court beginning at noon. Two Central New York Veterans are joining us today: Mike LaNasa is a Co-Grand Marshal this year, joining Astronaut and Corcoran High School Grad Jeannette Epps in that honor. Orrin “Mack” MacMurray is the Director of Outreach for Honor Flight Syracuse and a volunteer for the Veteran’s Parade and Expo.
