They decided to turn their grief into collecting items for local animal organizations and for the last three years, their collections have become more and more successful. This year, they’re holding an event open to the public at the PressRoom Pub on September 13th. Both Deanna and Fred talk about how this all came to be. The Museum of Science and Technology in Armory Square is debuting a brand new exhibit beginning on March 29th. It’s called Onondaga Grown presents GROW and it focuses on agricultural science and food systems in Central New York.
