It's Group Therapy Thursday time!
Dear Ted and Amy,
Our family splurged on some fun outdoor Christmas decorations this year. They blink and move and we’re feeling pretty festive. The problem is that our neighbor came over last night and said that their dog is terrified of them! I guess the bright lights and especially the movement is freaking the dog out every time they take it outside. (the dog can see them from the back yard). They asked that we take down the decorations that are scaring him, or at least turn the lights and/or movement off on their side of the house. I am sympathetic and a pet lover from way back but we spent a lot of money on these holiday decorations. It’ll look weird if they’re only lit on one side of the house plus we’ve been really excited about putting them up! Should I change our holiday décor just for my neighbor’s dog's piece of mind?
Signed,
