Dear Ted and Amy,
I'm dating a guy who has been nothing but loving... until last weekend when something kind of weird happened. He moved to this area recently for a job so he doesn’t really know anyone from here. But we just happened to see one of his former coworkers who has family in the area and the guy mentioned that he’s glad my boyfriend has been able to move on. When I asked him about it, he got super weird and refused to talk about it. But I finally got out of him that his first wife had died a couple of years ago and that’s another reason why he decided to move and start over. Since then, he's been distant and cagey. He never told me he was even married. Now I’m wondering if he is hiding something. Why would he not tell me his wife passed away?
