It's Group Therapy Thursday!

Dear Ted and Amy,
My friends and I have had the same group chat since college. One of the guys recently got married, and now his wife keeps responding from his phone. She comments on our jokes, reacts to memes, and even answered a question meant for him. Everyone else, including me is not a fan of this. So, we started a second group chat that didn’t include him. I know he’s wondering why communication has pretty much stopped on our end. But it’s different what we share among our group and what his wife can see.Are we wrong for starting a second group chat without him?
