On this Friday edition of The Morning Shift, Tiffany Blackmon, Mike Johnson and Robb Tribble, filling in for Beau Morgan, kickoff the show by recapping what they did last night, Tiffany and Mike doing some catching up with Robb, and then The Morning Shift crew reacts to Atlanta Falcons beat writer for The Athletic, Josh Kendall, putting together a mock trade in The Athletic’s beat writer mock draft where he has the Falcons trading the number eight overall pick, the number 43 overall pick, and their 2025 first-round pick to the New England Patriots to trade up to the number three overall pick and drafting LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels. Next, Tiffany, Mike and Robb continue the opening hour by talking about dogs, and then reacting to Bijan Robinson saying his goal next season is to rush for 2,000 yards. The Morning Shift crew discusses whether or not Bijan rushing for 2,000 yards would actually be good for the team. Finally, Tiffany, Mike, and Robb close out the opening hour by reacting to OneTeam Partners and CLC launching an NIL opt-in program for EA Sports’ College Football 25 video game.
