Hurricane Ian is building in strength as it heads toward western Cuba.  The current NOAA forecast has Ian becoming a category 4 storm slamming into Florida just north of Tampa area on Thurdsay morning.  The hurricane winds and storm surge will arrive hours before the eye does and officials are telling people to make plans to leave now.
