View descriptionShare

The fourth Test between Australia and India at the MCG set a new Australian attendance record. Over 50,000 fans attended on day five, bringing the total to 350,700, breaking the 1937 Ashes record.

The Sydney Sixers remain unbeaten in the Big Bash with a 4-from-4 record after an 8-wicket win over Brisbane Heat at the Gabba. Chasing 139, Josh Philippe secured the win with an unbeaten 66.

Alex De Minaur is excited for Australia’s United Cup tie against Great Britain, where he might face his English partner Katie Boulter in mixed doubles.

The Socceroos will play their 2026 World Cup qualifiers without veteran defender Harry Souttar, who is out for at least 9 months after rupturing his Achilles playing for Sheffield United.
