Entertainment Editor Peter Ford on Ariana Grande and Paul Mescal's Variety interview, TMZ's report on pregnant Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's split, and praise for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from a 'Polo' docuseries producer.
Ariana Grande and Paul mescal have given fans the ultimate Glicked collab.
Yeah, well, this is really sweet and there's going to be a lot of these dropping over the next few weeks. It's something that Variety do where they call actors on actors and they just put two people together and they chat, you know, and it brings out stuff that wouldn't necessarily come out when you're in a say, a talk show situation or being interviewed by a journalist. It's much more free flow. And in this one, Ariana and Paul of course probably arguably two of the hottest stars in the world at the moment, and both have ended this incredible publicity to both been on for their respective movies. And of course it's it's been titled glicked. This suddenly I think I ruined it. I think it's clickered clicked. I think as a is asap or as soon as possible. J we're getting caught out.
The place Glad g l for Glad THEE And because I came out at the same time.
Exactly so here is clicked, im just so here's a clip of Pool and are their respective time. I know who we are Glicked and there's lots.
We are, we are clicked, We are clicked.
I feel like our movies are strangely similar.
Do you I do.
I know that sounds.
Absolutely absurd, but I really do feel like they are because there are strong themes of evil versus good and honestly, in certain ways dictatorship.
Yeah absolutely, yeah, yeah, totally.
They feel thematically intertwined and also like not to sell the whole clicked thing, but like in terms of a double feature, thematically similar but then also like totally different meals.
We're really selling each other's exactly. I think everyone gladiated to see Wicked, just like Barbenheimer is really dominating the box office at the moment.
It's going to be my mission for the rest of the show to somehow get thematically intertwined. Well, we are there, we are, We're thematically intertwined. I'm going to try and work that into the show somewhere.
Today.
TMZ's reporting a major Hollywood break up this morning. Who's this pet?
Yeah?
This make this quick because it really could be all different again tomorrow. So it's being reported that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have split up. Now why this is significant, It's only just a couple of weeks ago that they announced that they were having a baby together. So good. Yeah, Well, apparently they went on a holiday together to Vail, Colorado, and according to the reports, she saw things on his phone. That's when they were sharing the news of the pregnancy. Now it's all turned ugly. She saw things on his phone that she found deeply upsetting. Now we don't know what that is. It might sound far more dramatic than it actually was, but I have a funny feeling with these two. You know, could all be back on again tomorrow, so stay tuned.
So for today, they're thematically unentertwined exactly.
That could change. So what will bring you a part is going away on a holiday together?
Yeah, and all looking at your husband's phone.
That's never going to end well.
A show runner who's worked closely with the Sussexes has praised the couple.
That's nice, he has, exactly, and we're happy to report this a nice positive story about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and the producer or showrunner as they call it in America on this reality series if you like about Polo, has said they are absolutely a delight to work with. You know, great people to collaborate with his job, and they were, of course executive producers of it. That guy there, Milo Ballack is his name, and he has said and look, you know, let's face it, he's getting paid by them.
And Harry are his bosses.
Who paid exactly Yeah, yeah, and Negie and Harry do do a brief appearance in one of the episodes of the show. But be that as it, mate, he's saying, they are great people to work with. Basically, let him go about doing his job of creating a show. Prince Harry had some ideas of how he wanted the narrative to be because Polo is one of his own passions and that's reflected throughout the show. But basically they let him do what he felt was the right thing to do as the producer of the show which is about to drop crawl up.
Sorry, okay, thanks first, sorry, it's hardly independent. That's nice to hear, and that's lovely.
Showrunners, in all honesty have limited exposure to stars on set, don't they.
Yeah, Well, if you're the executive producer, though, you can just pick up the phone and get your own way
