Entertainment Editor Peter Ford on local authorities in Argentina confirming the arrest of three people in relation to Liam Payne's death.

We begin with breaking news. Local authorities in Argentina have announced they've charged and arrested three people in relation to one direction style Liampaigne's death last month. Yeah, let's bring in our entertainment editor, our Peter Ford Hyghpee. This is a major development.

It is so just to be clear, this is not speculation. This is confirmed. This is unfolded. In the last hour, Argentinian authorities have confirmed that three people have been detained and arrested in connection with Liam Payne's death and the events that led up to it, and I guess most especially the supply of drugs which were involved in his eventual death. The belief, of course is that what happened to Liam Payne was not his intent. He was on some kind of drug frenzy and went over the balcony. So the three people who've now been arrested them to our hotel employees. One of them is believed to have supplied drugs to him, a cocktail of drugs on the day before his death. The other employees believed to have supplied cocaine only about a week earlier. Now bearing a mind of course, that there was a whole bunch of different drugs that go under a funny name called pink Cocaine. There's no cocaine actually in pink Cocaine. It's like a cocktail name. Just throw all this stuff in there and basically that becomes pink cocaine. So that was supplied to him the day before. Now, perhaps more interestingly, there is another man called Roger who is being described as a friend ofly in Pains. Now this gets a little bit blurry here because nobody seems to really know of a friend called Roger. It seems likely this is someone who did befriend him just in that week or so leading up to his death, not any kind of long term friend. And this man Roger, was passing himself off as being Listally in Pain's business manager, but there is nothing to suggest that that actually was the case at all. So three people now arrested. Now, interestingly, one of the chargers that they are facing is abandonment followed by death. I think we have a charge here in this country. It's almost like, I guess manslaughter that something you have done or walked away from has resulted in somebody's death, even though you may not have been your intention for that to have that outcome. So I don't know whether this in fact is you know, I guess it's good news for the family in the sense that down the track they may be able to look at this and know that there was a full investigation. Eight hundred hours of CCTV vision was seized, both from inside the hotel, outside the hotel, nearby streets and the Clearly they've spent weeks working on this, so I guess in time that may bring some comfort to the family, who, of course, at this point in time still haven't even had a funeral yet. The body is now back in the UK, and of this believed the funeral will take place in the early part of next week.

Okay, Pete, thank you very much for that.

We'll get back to you a little bit later in the show.
