Two more Australian ISIS brides held in Syria

View descriptionShare
Kurdish authorities at the Syrian Rose refugee camp have revealed two additional Australian ISIS brides classified as extremists are being held separately from a group of 11 women and 23 children who recently attempted to return to Australia. The camp director states these two women are not Australian citizens but married Australian ISIS fighters, while the larger group displays no extremist behaviour. The Australian federal government has stated it will not aid in repatriation efforts despite being legally obligated to issue passports, creating a stalemate as the camp faces closure.
