US President Donald Trump has warned that a major wave of attacks on Iran is still to come, describing the military operation as America's last chance to remove what he calls a 'sick and sinister regime'. Trump stated the offensive, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, should take four to five weeks and confirmed he would deploy US ground forces if necessary. Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned the next phase of strikes will be 'even more punishing', while Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth insisted this is not another endless war or regime change operation, despite contradicting Trump's stated objectives.
