A 15-year-old girl and a 25-year-old man have been charged with intent to murder and participating in criminal group activity following the shooting of former NRL star Matt Utai in Sydney's west. Police believe Utai's son, Azai, was the intended target in what appears to be connected to Sydney's underworld conflicts. Matt Utai remains in serious condition in hospital as both accused have been refused bail.
