A 'cannabis club and cafe' near Ipswich is claiming it will help smash the stigma around medical marijuana. But it's just a short walk from shops and a primary school, leaving some parents worried.

But Peter says the treatment came with a lot of stigma, prompting his son Aaron, to create this concept. The club doesn't sell or to spence medical marijuana, promoting itself as a space for those already prescribed to smoke, socialize and seek support free of judgment. However, its location near a busy road, shops and even a school is already ruffling feathers.
They want to do it, put it away from work, lightneer skills.
I definitely don't think it's an appropriate area to have it. Never had any issues, never had one complaint.
It's which City Council has told seven News it has received a small number of complaints in recent days, but insists it had no role in the business commencing operations as no planning permits were required. Supporters of this concept hope that this is only the beginning and that more centers like this one will open up across the state and the country.
