Payment provider Tyro's analysis of hundreds of millions of transactions reveals 32% of Australians are now less likely to buy rounds for their group, with half reporting changed drinking habits due to rising costs. Pubs are seeing increased use of QR code ordering, more bill splitting, and greater demand for food over drinks, with 19% of surveyed patrons reporting spending $100 on a single round.
