With 1,200 beds across New South Wales blocked by aged care patients, the state and federal governments are at odds over funding solutions, while doctors forecast a tripling of emergency department services in coming years. The Opposition is calling for immediate temporary bed solutions including transition lounges and partnerships with hotels.
