A thief's attempted raid of a Paradise Point chemist has gone spectacularly wrong. He was spotted trying to kick down a glass door. When he finally got in he could barely keep hold of his prizes. Officers were there in just a few minutes trapping a stolen car and salvaging a haul of drugs and cash.

Loading loot into an empty tub. This intruder isn't picky. Instead, he's clumsy, dropping his haul of medication and petty cash not once, but twice in a minute. He adds to the mighty mess he's made and decides to make off with three boxes of stock. The stolen goods didn't get fast, spilled out onto the footpath where police were waiting.
There was medication for every day for cholester for butt pressure, for cancer, medication or what we're going to do. We're going to now try to recheck everything and goes through every medication see if we can reuse it or not.
It took police just over three minutes to arrive, and although the alleged thief managed to flee on foot, a twenty year old from Southport was arrested later this morning. A twenty five year old cool and gad woman believed to have been waiting in the car during the smash and grab, was arrested at the scene.
