A small West Leederville based consulting firm is embroiled in a legal stoush with a state government department over claims it breached copyright by accessing and forwarding one of its reports without permission. 

Pit Crew Management Consulting Services allegedly forwarded the reports, worth $40,000 to conduct, which deal with sensitive information relating to the WA labour market.

The report showed, among other things, that WA’s resources sector could be 33,000 workers short by mid 2023.
