A bushfire Watch and Act alert is in place for people between Tonkin Highway and Orrong Road, from St John Road in the east to McDowell Street in the west in parts of Kewdale, Wattle Grove and Welshpool in the Cities of Belmont, Canning and Kalamunda.

There is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is approaching in the area and conditions are changing.
