Public transport shortfalls have left some tourists in Busselton with no option but walk to the local airport 8km from the foreshore, with luggage in tow.

Busselton resident of 25 years, Christina Lisson, told 6PR Mornings host Liam Bartlett a friend recently picked up two tourists from the side of the road and delivered them to the Busselton Airport.

Mayor Grant Henley told Bartlett there plans to fix the issue in the popular South West town.
