From today 3G networks across the country will be shut down, so how will you be affected?  Optus' head of new products Harvey Wright told The Gary Aadshead Show only some devices will be affected, but he is "confident" the transition to 4G should be relatively smooth. "We're confident we've got the awareness out there," said Mr Wright.

Australian author and scientist Dr Karl Kruszelnicki has revealed walking backwards can have incredible health benefits.  From placing less strain on the knees to improving coordination Dr Kruszelnicki told the Gary Adshead Show it can do wonders for the lower limbs. 

The state government has been providing funding for the Collie economy ahead of its transition from coal power.  The funding is designed to support Collie through its transition into a new economy, but there are questions about where the money is actually going.  Jack McGinn from WA Business News told The Gary Adshead Show that $500k was awarded to KFC owners to create a new car park pitched as a tourism opportunity.  

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is defending claims he received free Qantas upgrades and obtained a prized Chairman's Lounge membership for his son while he was transport minister. Mr Albansese says he declared the upgrades on international flights, but some believe this isn't enough.  At the centre of these claims is the author of “The Chairman's Lounge - The inside story of how Qantas sold us out” Joe Aston who told The Gary Adshead Show Qantas "developed Anthony Albanese as a... close friend of the company."
