WA's Agriculture Minister has conceded the federal government isn't going to back down on the issue.

President of WA's Pastoralists & Graziers Association Tony Seabrook told Gary Adshead a blanket ban would impact livelihoods.

"There's no justification for it whatsoever - this trade is an entirely different trade to what it was before, and it's just a craven political move," Mr Seabrook said on 6PR Mornings.
