Australian actor George Lazenby, who starred as James Bond 007 in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, will be live on stage at the Perth Concert Hall as WASO plays The Music of James Bond this weekend.

Lazenby told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings how he got the gig to play 007 in 1969, after living in London as a model.

"I had never spoken before a camera or acted, and I went back to Paris after I burnt out as a model in London," he said.
