It’s world kangaroo day and a petition has been delivered to the European Union (EU) to stop the import of kangaroo meat into the EU.

The call comes after kangaroo activist Michael McIntyre announced the commercial kangaroo industry is not monitored and the Australian icon needs to be protected.
