More than half of Australians have changed summer holiday plans after interest rises and other cost-of-living pressures.

TTF chief executive Margy Osmond told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings it was clear cost-of-living pressures were forcing Australians to adjust their travel and holiday plans to necessitate savings.

"More than anything else it's giving people a bit of pause in terms of  their holiday bookings," she said.

"People are being a little bit more reluctant than they normally would at this time of the year to holiday."
