New debate has begun over how many supervised driving hours learners must complete before getting their license.
The deaths of two 17-year-olds on Saturday afternoon have sparked the debate when their ute rolled seven times on the South Western Highway.
WA learner drivers must complete 50 hours of supervised driving, compared to 120 hours in New South Wales and Victoria.
Australian Road Safety Foundation CEO Russell White told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings that there needs to be consistency around the country to limit road deaths.
