Diane Miller, 30, was sitting in the passenger seat of a car when she was attacked at Waterford Plaza Shopping Centre carpark around 7.30pm in what police labelled as "senseless, unprovoked violence".

Her brother Malcolm Clifton told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings her little sister acts like she's the oldest and supports everyone, being "everyone's rock" and "the most beautiful person anyone had met".

"Everyone's destroyed, shocked... because she's such a beautiful person who would do anything for anybody," he said.

"The doctor said she's got swelling on the brain and it's not coming down."
