The lawyer appearing on behalf of Aishwarya Aswath's parents has asked a doctor who treated the seven-year-old if he did everything he possibly could to save her life.
A senior doctor has told the coroner's court he helped put a drip into the back of Aishwarya's right hand when she arrived in the resuscitation bay at Perth Children's Hospital.
He was part of a team of medical staff working on her - and tried to get her breathing back on track, before she suddenly vomited and went into cardiac arrest.
6PR reporter Anne Naylor told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings this was a case no one had ever encountered before.
