The West Coast Eagles have beaten Hawthorn in Melbourne for the first time since Premiership year, 2006, taking down the Hawks by  15 points at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The Eagles are now on a nine game winning streak and back on top of the AFL ladder after a see-sawing match up with the Hawks saw the visitors take home the chocolates, 9.6 (60) to 11.9 (75).
