"I'm pretty proud and happy that he's on my side as well because I see how he attacks the footy in the air as well," Sheppard says about his teammate Liam Ryan. 
"For him to do it week in week out at AFL level; to have that confidence in himself to rise above packs regardless of the conditions... it's something pretty special, he's a special player."
