The State Government has launched a new campaign which will attempt to lure cash strapped Brits to Western Australia by filling pubs across British and Irish cities with beach sand.

UK Pubs will also have photos of WA's best destination spots plastered on their walls, as WA is promising British workers better wages and sunny days all year round.

Manager of the Poms in Perth Russell Burder told 6PR Breakfast the only thing that could deter Britain's best, is the stereotype that 'everything can kill you' in Australia.
