Mark McGowan believes the state has achieved the 'soft landing' the government desired for the community ahead of the Omicron peak.
The WA Premier, out of isolation on Thursday after contracting COVID-19, said the state's strict mandates were difficult but had worked, and urged everyone to remain cautious ahead of Friday's easing of pandemic restrictions and return to baseline settings.
"We still urge people to use common sense, if you want to wear a mask, wear a mask, if you're unwell stay home," he told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.
