Popular WA cricketer Ryan Campbell remains under sedation and critically ill after he suffered a series of cardiac arrests over Easter in the UK.

6PR Breakfast host Gareth Parker, a good friend of the 50-year-old and his young family, provided an update on Campbell's health, after the cricketer had a heart attack while at a park in the UK with his kids, just days after he was in Perth for a reunion with family and friends.

"I do have for you this morning something of an update," Parker said.
