Australian retailer Country Road is about to reissue its classic Chambray Shirt from 1984.

Style editor Melissa Hoyer said the iconic oversized shirt for both sexes was one of many style statements from the 1980s making a comeback, some not for the first time.

"It's a classic, it's a staple, it's one of those things that probably a lot of people will look in the wardrobe and go 'hang on, I've got one of those big, oversized shirts," she told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.

It prompted listeners to call in with other fashion trends they want to see back.
